Deputy Assistant Secretary Maureen Sullivan is part of the office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Energy, Installations, and Environment ASD (EI&E) which provides budgetary, policy, and management oversight of the Department of Defense’s (DoD) $880 billion real property portfolio encompassing more than 500 installations, 562,000 buildings and structures, and 25 million acres.

Secretary Sullivan is responsible for all Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health (ESOH) activities, which include legal compliance, natural and cultural resource management, and environmental cleanup of hazardous waste and munitions.

Following the presentation there will be a moderated discussion focusing on issues of concern to the EBC membership.
