Beginning with a 101 introduction to sustainability, Ascending Professionals will lead a discussion on the basics of sustainability, also known as ESG, which represents environmental, social, and governance issues. We’ll discuss high level concepts of ESG Materiality and how to get started with ESG, as well as specific topics across the ESG spectrum including Greenhouse Gas accounting, getting to net zero, DEI and social justice, and corporate governance practices. We hope you’ll join us for this three-part series to learn how companies can incorporate sustainability into their business and move towards a green economy.
