EBC and AIM Breakfast Meeting with EEA Secretary Ian Bowles

Following Governor Patrick?s creation in April 2007 of the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA), Secretary Bowles was given the expanded responsibility for environmental agencies (the DEP and DCR), the Department of Public Utilities and the Division of Energy Resources. Several major decisions were made during 2007. The Commonwealth joined the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (GRRI). The MEPA office issuing a first in the country Greenhouse Gas Emissions Policy. In September, Laurie Burt was appointed Commissioner of the Department of Environmental Protection.
Join us for a continental breakfast and networking featuring Ian Bowles, the Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Secretary Bowles will review the agency?s activities over the past year and discuss future environmental and energy priorities for the Commonwealth.
