EBC 6th Annual Ocean and Coastal Resources Regional Agency Update

The seas are rising! How do you measure it – and how do you respond

The annual EBC update from New England’s coastal regulatory leaders provides an opportunity to learn more about the programs and priorities shaping the region’s shoreline management. For the 2026 iteration, state leaders will focus on sea level rise: how it is measured, how projections are used to set planning horizons, and how this information guides resilience investments and policy decisions.

Regulators from Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island will share their perspectives on sea level rise data and monitoring, the timeframes currently informing state programs and infrastructure investments, and the strategies being incentivized to build resilience along the coast.

Attend not only to hear how each state is responding to rising seas but also come prepared with your own questions to foster an informative discussion and advance the coastal sector together.

General Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this program (3.0 training contact hours). Certificates are automatically provided via email link for registered attendees at the conclusion of the webinar.
