This 3rd Annual EBC New Hampshire Offshore Wind Conference will feature presentations and remarks by federal and state agency officials, offshore wind developers, electric grid experts and the commercial fishing community. All these parties seek to ensure that the consideration of offshore wind development is conducted in a respectful, open, transparent, and collaborative process.

Participants will learn about BOEM`s efforts to significantly increase offshore wind generation nationally and its Offshore Wind Task Force process for the Gulf of Maine. We also will learn about the status of offshore wind activities in Massachusetts and Maine, regional planning, assessment and advocacy efforts, considerations associated with the addition of offshore wind generation to the grid, and the importance of fishing industry and maritime navigation involvement in the planning process.

There also will be an update on the work of the NH Commission to Study Offshore Wind and Port Development, and implementation of Governor Sununu’s Offshore Wind Executive Order which requires three state agencies to jointly study and submit a report to the Governor and Legislature on greenhouse gas reductions associated with varying levels of offshore wind development and studies on the state’s existing port infrastructure, coastal transmission infrastructure and opportunities to attract offshore wind supply chain operations in New Hampshire.

A robust panel discussion with the audience will conclude the webinar.

General Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this program (2.5 training contact hours). Certificates are automatically provided via email link for registered attendees at the conclusion of the webinar.
