Offshore wind is moving forward on both coasts and the Great Lakes. These are large infrastructure projects, and permitting, project planning, and site preparation must be evaluated and developed.
Offshore wind turbines are massive structures that need a lot of support, from permitting the wind farm to permitting and developing support facilities. These land facilities can vary in size or structural requirements. Fortunately, New England was built around the maritime industry and commerce however, to meet the needs of this new industry, redevelopment of these old marine facilities needs to be completed to meet the new demands for the staging of equipment, materials, and the support industry.
This EBC 17th Annual Dredging Conference will focus on what is being done to meet the demands of this new industry, from permitting facilities to planning and constructing the new facilities.
A robust panel discussion with the audience will conclude the webinar.
General Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this program (2.5 training contact hours). Certificates are automatically provided via email link for registered attendees at the conclusion of the webinar.
