Dredging is an important component of maintaining smaller waterways that are used by both commercial and recreational users. Dredging these waterways is largely the responsibility of municipalities, state agencies, and local private sector waterfront facilities. What steps are necessary to permit such projects? What regulations and policies govern how these projects are planned, permitted, and implemented? How have they been used successfully on a recent project?

This EBC Ocean and Coastal Resources program will explore these topics with a panel of Massachusetts and federal regulators and private sector environmental professionals experienced in this area.

General Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this program (3.5 training contact hours). Please select this option during registration if you wish to receive a certificate.
