Thank you to our Silver Sponsor

In 2017 and 2018, attendees at the EBC Annual Coastal Construction Conferences benefited from lessons learned on a variety of coastal construction projects and were able to take those lessons back to their offices to apply to their projects. The attendees reported that the significant benefit of that program was the focus on presentations from contractors and owners.

Often professionals working on the development and permitting of coastal projects do not get to experience the construction of their projects, or more importantly, receive the benefits of lessons learned. The realities of constructing projects are often different from the documents and drawings that we produce. Without the benefit of this knowledge, lessons learned cannot be applied to future projects.

This EBC Ocean and Coastal Resources program will again bring together coastal construction contractors and project owners to provide case studies of recent coastal construction projects as well as lessons learned. The contractor presentations will provide perspectives on how project development and permitting professionals can take into account the realities of construction operations. This working knowledge will improve the ability of projects to be designed and permitted.

This EBC program will be invaluable for coastal development consultants and agency permit reviewers to attend to get some “real-world” experience.

General Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this meeting (3.5 training contact hours). Please select this option during registration if you wish to receive a certificate.
