This EBC Dam Management Program addresses temporary control of water and construction dewatering for dam rehabilitation and dam removal projects. Various control of water techniques such as cofferdam options, dewatering systems, and flow bypasses will be evaluated. Presentations will discuss how to appropriately allocate design responsibilities and risk between the Owner, Engineer, and Contractor. Presentations will also address challenges faced, lessons learned, and success stories.
