The National Climate Assessment is the United States’ official report on climate change impacts, risks, and responses. The 5th National Climate Assessment (NCA5) was released in late 2023 and provides data, analyses and projections on various regions and sectors.

This EBC Climate Change and Air Webinar will provide an overview of the NCA5, with a focus on key messages for the Northeast including climate impacts on the environment, health, economy, and infrastructure. Our speakers are all contributors to the NCA5 and will share their insights on the impacts and consequences of climate change in our region. We will explore how the results of the NCA5 can inform decision-making at all levels, from policymakers to communities, as we work to adapt to and mitigate climate change.

General Continuing Education Certificates are awarded by the EBC for this program (1.0 training contact hours). Certificates are automatically provided via email link for registered attendees at the conclusion of the webinar.

Additional information can be found under the tabs above.
