Mission Statement
The EBC Strategic Planning Committee is a committee of the Environmental Business Council whose members are appointed by the Executive Director. The general purpose of the committee is to manage the EBC’s strategic planning process and to provide support and guidance regarding the EBC’s long-term strategy and its adherence to its mission of advancing and promoting the interests of the environmental and energy services and technology business in New England.
Roles & Responsibilities
The Committee will be responsible for steering the strategic planning process for the organization, with specific responsibility for:
- Planning the annual strategic planning retreat, including venue selection, agenda formation, preparing and distributing any pre-work or supporting materials, and the engaging of external consultants, speakers, and facilitators as required.
- Driving strategic initiatives identified during the planning retreat, including defining goals and objectives, identifying and recruiting additional resources, monitoring progress, and communicating outcomes.
- Undertaking ad hoc special projects at the request of the Executive Director and Chair of the Board.
