Tighe & Bond, Inc. is pleased to announce that David P. Horowitz, P.E., CSP, has recently been named leader of the regulatory compliance technical practice group. Since joining Tighe & Bond in 1998, Dave has been a key contributor to the firm’s success, focusing his efforts on regulatory compliance with emphasis on storage tank design and inspection and industrial wastewater management. Dave promotes process optimization and economic savings through the application of his knowledge, designs and inspects storage tank systems, performs safety and wastewater operations training, and assists prospective wastewater treatment plant operators with examination preparation. As technical practice leader, Dave will champion the growth and development of the firm’s technical capabilities in the practice of environmental, health & safety consulting.

A mechanical engineering alumnus of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Dave is a registered professional engineer, a certified safety professional, and a certified steel tank institute and international code council tank inspector. He is a member of the National Fire Protection Association and the American Society of Safety Engineers. Dave resides in Longmeadow, MA.

Tighe & Bond, Inc. is pleased to announce that Darleen P. Buttrick and Matthew J. Romano have recently passed the Massachusetts licensing exam to practice as professional engineers.

Darleen serves as a design engineer on a variety of water resources and wastewater projects for public and private clients. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Bucknell University and her Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Darleen resides in Easthampton, MA.

Matthew Romano joined Tighe & Bond’s electrical group five years ago after earning his Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He has designed power, lighting, and other electrical systems for numerous water and wastewater pumping station and treatment facility improvements. He resides in East Longmeadow, MA.
