SAK Environmental Helps Connect New Novartis Facility to Efficient District Energy Network

SAK Environmental, a long-time partner to Veolia Energy North America, is serving as the Environmental Manager to help connect the new Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research Facility in Cambridge, MA to Veolia’s district energy system. SAK provided environmental design investigation and construction administration on this fast-track project.  The 610 foot,     8-inch diameter steam line will provide reliable and efficient district energy to a 550,000 s.f. state of the art life science facility.  “We are thrilled to be part of an efficient energy solution and take seriously our role in Veolia’s commitment in expanding their infrastructure in an environmentally responsible way”, says Stephen Sakakeeny, Principal at SAK.  Work is scheduled to be completed this year.
