Harold Moritz Named Associate of Malcolm Pirnie

White Plains, NY, April 30, 2007-Harold “Fritz” Moritz has been named an Associate of the national environmental consulting firm Malcolm Pirnie, Inc. Working from the firm’s Middletown, CT office, he manages the delivery of environmental characterization and remediation services to federal and industrial clients.

Mr. Moritz’s experience includes conducting and managing a variety of large-scale environmental and hydrogeologic characterization and remediation projects. His project experience includes hydrogeological investigations at municipal solid waste and hazardous waste landfills, bulk and retail petroleum facilities, urban brownfield sites, residential neighborhoods, nuclear power plants, property transfer site assessments, and federal and state designated hazardous waste sites. Mr. Moritz’s responsibilities include working directly with clients to assess their needs, proposing and planning technical approaches to obtaining solutions, acting as an advocate for the client’s position, budgeting, guiding and advising staff, preparing and reviewing reports, and negotiating with regulators.

A resident of East Haddam, CT, Mr. Moritz has a BS in geology from Case Western Reserve University. He is active in the Environmental Professionals of Connecticut.
