Narragansett, RI – Rhode Island environmental consulting firm Applied Science Associates, Inc. (ASA) has completed its move to new offices to accommodate for growth.
Since 1979, ASA has helped clients around the world meet their environmental needs related to coastal and ocean projects. With recent growth related to ocean observing, maritime operations, climate change, and expanding energy needs, ASA has completed the relocation of its headquarters to 10,000 square feet of newly constructed office space at 55 Village Square Drive, South Kingstown, Rhode Island. After 25 years in its previous offices in Narragansett, the company has moved into a new location in the adjacent township of South Kingstown.
“The new facilities offer an attractive long-term leasing opportunity, coupled with an extremely functional area for both administrative and research needs,” said Eoin Howlett, CEO of ASA, “We are just minutes away from the campuses of the University of Rhode Island, and also near Providence, so we have great access to world class universities and new science and technology graduates.”
ASA’s new headquarters in South County Commons Plaza has 10,000 Square feet of newly built office space. The move is seen as an integral part of the direction the company is moving. Within a mixed-use commercial and retail plaza, there is a Hampton Inn hotel next door to the ASA building that will serve as a place for international clients, partners, and international office staff to stay while in Rhode Island during meetings at the headquarters. The office space at 55 Village Square boasts open and modern loft-style architecture complete with high ceilings, large windows and advanced technology and communications. The new environment sets a tone consistent with ASA’s innovative technology development and relaxed culture.
In conjunction with the office move, the company has also launched a new corporate Website. The new ASA Web presence at www.asascience.com offers a new project gallery showcasing the firm’s diverse range of global project work, downloadable software utilities, product demo videos, a new blog, as well as new sites for ASA’s global/regional offices with shared assets and interlinking between the ASA corporate site and regional office sites in Sao Paulo, Perth, Gold Coast, and Seattle.
The company will be hosting an open house for clients, partners, and friends for celebration and a tour of the new facility in November.
