Save the Date: 2018 Rhode Island Infrastructure Summit

Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank (Infrastructure Bank) today announced their keynote speakers for the second annual Rhode Island Infrastructure Summit on Monday, September 17, 2018.

Armand E. Sabitoni, General Secretary-Treasurer & New England Regional Manager of the Laborers’ International Union of North America, and Alan Rubin, Principal at Blank Rome Government Relations LLC, a nationally-recognized expert and advisor in natural and manmade disaster recovery, will address policymakers and private sector experts on Rhode Island’s infrastructure and the opportunities and challenges it presents for economic development in the State.

Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank will host its second annual Rhode Island Infrastructure Summit on September 17, 2018 at the Rhode Island Convention Center.

The Summit will feature a prominent keynote speaker, opening and closing plenaries, and panel discussions covering four themes relating to the contribution that infrastructure investment makes to growing our local economy:

  • Green Infrastructure & Resiliency
  • Economic Development
  • Clean Energy
  • Housing

Sue Courtemanche is a Licensed Site Professional (LSP) and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) who specializes in environmental site investigation and remediation projects, environmental auditing, and environmental compliance and permitting for a variety of private and public-sector clients. She has over 33 years of professional environmental consulting experience in the Northeastern United States. Ms. Courtemanche is active in the Massachusetts LSPA and previously served as its President, and as Chairman of the Education Committee. She is currently on the Pawtucket Foundation Board of Directors and has served several terms on the Board of Directors for the Rhode Island Society of Environmental Professionals (RISEP). Sue has a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
