Kathy Campbell Elected President and Chief Executive Officer at CDW Consultants, Inc.

Kathy Campbell, PE, LSP, LEED AP has been elected the President and Chief Executive Officer at CDW Consultants, Inc.  After joining the firm in 1993, Kathy rose through the ranks and has become the majority shareholder, responsible for growing the 22-person firm by serving existing clients and developing new business relationships.

Kathy is a registered Professional Engineer (Environmental), a Licensed Site Professional, and LEED Accredited Professional.  She holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College. Kathy started her career in wastewater engineering, and in 1990 was drawn towards environmental consulting and the rapidly expanding hazardous waste field. In her three decades of experience, Kathy has provided her expertise in permitting and compliance, environmental assessment, LSP services, and hazardous materials management for transportation, brownfields, K-12 schools, colleges and universities, and state and federal agency projects. She has taken several award-winning brownfields development projects from start to finish in Boston, Worcester and other urban areas in Massachusetts.

CDW is an environmental consulting and civil engineering firm, and is certified as both a woman-owned business enterprise (WBE), and a disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE). Located in Metro-west Boston, the 26-year old firm and its talented staff serve both public and private sector clients throughout New England.

Kathy has been an active member and served in leadership positions of many professional associations. In 2013 she was appointed by Governor Patrick to the Board of Registration of Hazardous Waste Site Cleanup Professionals (the “LSP Board”).
