BOSTON, MA, March 13, 2012 –Boston-based BlueWave Capital, a renewable energy project development company, today announced that Trevor Hardy has joined as Partner, effective immediately.
Mr. Hardy will be a key strategic resource for the company, responsible for helping BlueWave expand its geographic reach within New England, the Caribbean and into his native South Africa. BlueWave Capital has recently established a partnership for development of solar PV projects in South Africa, BlueWave SA Pty Ltd. In addition to his other responsibilities, Mr. Hardy will lead the development efforts of BlueWave SA.
Mr. Hardy brings high-level acquisitions, development and structured finance experience from the commercial real estate sector. Most recently, he served as Senior Director and Regional Finance Director at Tishman Speyer, a leading owner, developer, and manager of first-class real estate across the globe. During his tenure at Tishman Speyer, Mr. Hardy closed more than $1 billion in real estate transactions and was responsible for overseeing 2.5 million square feet of Class A office space in Boston.
Mr. Hardy joins partners John P. DeVillars and Eric Graber-Lopez at BlueWave. DeVillars, former New England Administrator of the EPA and former Secretary of Environmental Affairs for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, founded BlueWave in 2003. |Bedford, NH – Tuesday, March 13, 2012 – Ms. Pam Hall, President and CEO of Normandeau Associates was selected as one of six recipients of the New Hampshire Business Review 2012 Outstanding Women in Business Award, out of over 100 nominees. Pam was chosen for her long term leadership of Normandeau Associates, one of the nation’s largest natural sciences-based environmental consulting firms with corporate headquarters in Bedford, New Hampshire. She became President in 1987, when the firm was owned by a large public corporation and she led the charge to buy out the firm in 2000 and make it an employee-owned company. Since 2000, Normandeau Associates has grown from $19 million to $29 million in revenue and has over 250 employees nation-wide. She guided the firm through the difficult economic time of the last three years; when many other firms were struggling, Normandeau Associates was growing. Recently, the firm has expanded into California and Florida and has added a significant number of key hires.
Pam was also cited for her contributions to the community. Currently, she serves on several non-profit boards including the Environmental Business Council of New England, located in Boston, Massachusetts, where she has been Treasurer since 1997; Volunteer New Hampshire, where she has been Vice Chair and a member of the Executive Committee; the New Hampshire Corporate Wetlands Restoration Partnership; and the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests. Previously, she served on the Board of the Seacoast Science Center in Rye, New Hampshire for 6 years including three years as Chair. She was a founding Board member of the New Hampshire Chapter of The Nature Conservancy where she served for 17 years including terms as Chair and Vice Chair.
