Tech Environmental, Inc. of Waltham has been awarded a contract by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center ( http://www.masscec.com) to write a protocol for conducting acoustic studies of wind energy projects. MassCEC provides funding for the Feasibility Study phase of Commercial and Community Scale wind projects and requires that a detailed acoustic study be completed as part of the Feasibility Study.
