Tetra Tech Rizzo Acquires Daylor Consulting Group

FRAMINGHAM, MA – January 28, 2008 – Tetra Tech Rizzo announces it has acquired Daylor Consulting Group, a 40-person engineering, planning, and environmental firm based in Braintree, Massachusetts
“The merger of our companies will allow us to offer an even broader array of services such as land planning and survey to our clients” notes Brian Sullivan, President of Tetra Tech Rizzo. Tetra Tech Rizzo provides civil engineering; transportation planning and design; assessment, remediation, compliance; and natural resource services in New England and abroad.

Brian P. Sullivan, PE

Mr. Sullivan has more than 25 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development. He received his BS in Civil engineering from Northeastern University and joined Tetra Tech Rizzo (formerly Rizzo Associates) in 1985.  He was appointed President of Tetra Tech Rizzo in 2007 after successfully growing the site/civil engineering/land development practice to $20 million.  He was deeply honored that the company was recently named a “Best Place to Work” by the Environmental Business Council (EBC) of New England. “It’s all about the people – we work for great clients and our employees are passionate about their work. Run of the Charles Canoe and Kayak Race

Professional, amateur and recreational canoe and kayak races include international, national, and local entries, ages 12 and up.  More than 1,500 racers and thousands of spectators line the Charles River as the race winds through Dedham, Needham, Newton, Wellesley, and Waltham to the day-long free Finish Line Festival at Herter Park, Soldiers Field Road, Brighton.  Races include the $5000 Professional Flatwater Canoe Marathon, 24-Mile Canoe Relay Race for teams of ten, and 19-, 9- and 6-Mile canoe & kayak races.

Businesses and organizations are invited to form teams for the 24-mile corporate relay event.  No previous experience is necessary and participation helps build camaraderie and team skills with office colleagues.  Racers and co-workers can also enjoy a picnic in the park at the race?s Free Finish Line Festival and help celebrate one of the gems of Boston’s urban environment.  It’s a day you’ll talk about all year long!
