Mission Statement

The EBC PCB/TSCA Subcommittee:

The EBC PCB/TSCA subcommittee will focus on recent industry practices dealing with site remediation and building demolition as they pertain to the remediation/abatement of PCBs. There is a considerable amount of uncertainty in the industry currently regarding the assessment, remediation and disposal practices associated with soil and building materials (caulking, paint, concrete, etc.). This group will serve to understand and hopefully standardize EPA-compliant approaches for remediation of these sites. We will interact with the EPA Region 1 TSCA administrator on a frequent basis to understand what approaches have been proposed and more importantly approved by her.
